Expansion of Mass Notification System

The Expansion of the Mass Notification System (MNS) at Nellis and Creech Air Force bases in Nevada was a sole-source, design-bid-build project that included installing 11 fully operational solar-powered speaker systems and poles (I-Force 3200 towers), system and operations integration with the existing Wide Area MNS at the bases, electrical work, fire suppression elements and demolition activities.

The Nomlaki team earned a Very Good rating in the Contractor Performance Assessment Reporting System (CPARS) and zero lost-time hours.


Building 351 Repairs
Client: USACE, Sacramento District
Location: Sierra Army Depot, Herlong, California
Contract Value: $3.1M

The Building 351 Repairs contract included rehabilitation services at Sierra Army Depot in California. In addition to removing and replacing cargo doors, the Nomlaki team:

  • Removed and relocated new concrete ramps
  • Removed and replaced interior fire doors
  • Installed heaters
  • Updated the electrical system
  • Removed and replaced the building envelope
  • Applied a coating to the concrete floor

Cache Creek Levee Reconstruction
Client:  USACE, Sacramento District
Location: West Levee of the Yolo Bypass, California
Contract Value:  $8.6M

The Cache Creek Levee Reconstruction project involved the rehabilitation of seven heavily washed-out sites along the West Levee of the Yolo Bypass near Woodland, California. The Nomlaki team successfully completed this sole-source award project within a tight, 45-day deadline. Crews worked 12-hour days, seven days a week to meet the deadline. The project required about 27,000 cubic yards of soil be moved into and out of the site. During one five-day stretch, 32 trucks a day were utilized to haul soil.
